CHAIR

The Family Business Chair was created in 2006 as a result of a collaboration and Sponsorship Agreement between the University of Murcia, the Cajamurcia Foundation, the Family Business Institute and the Murcian Family Business Association. Bankia has been incorporated in 2018, replacing Cajamurcia-BMN.

It is the first Chair of a socio-economic nature in the Region of Murcia. In 2013, the Polytechnic University of Cartagena was formally incorporated to establish the Mare Nostrum Family Business Chair, the first of an interuniversity nature on the national scene.

The Chair is made up of 26 professors assigned to 10 departments of the two public universities in the Region of Murcia. Its activities include training, research and dissemination, working closely with the main professional and academic institutions in the field of family businesses.
